Training for Businesses on the North Shore to Learn About Offshore Wind Supply Chain

The Salem Offshore Wind Terminal development has the potential to bring new opportunities for businesses who would like to participate in the offshore wind supply chain. In recognition of the potential for new business opportunities, the North Shore Alliance for Economic Development is partnering with Oceantic Network to hold a one-day in-person training. The training will be presented by an industry expert and is intended to educate business representatives on the offshore wind industry and supply chain. North Shore businesses are invited to attend this training to learn about the range of goods and services needed in the offshore wind industry, as well as identify additional trainings or certifications that may be needed to participate in this supply chain.

Oceantic Network, in partnership with the North Shore Alliance for Economic Development, will conduct its Offshore Wind Ready Training which is a one-day in-person educational program designed for businesses who want to learn more about specific business opportunities in the growing U.S. offshore wind industry.

Any business owners/entrepreneurs interested in learning more about offshore wind supply chain opportunities.

Project development

Project’s supply chain component parts

How to identify where their business fits in the supply chain

Learn how your business can receive assistance and guidance as you begin to navigate the market

Identify additional training and certification requirements.

The North Shore Alliance for Economic Development is a regional collaborative of leaders from more than 30 communities on the North Shore. They advocate for issues related to economic development, transportation, and infrastructure. This training opportunity has been made available with funding from the Massachusetts Office of Business Development. The training is available to all businesses on the North Shore and is not limited to businesses in the City of Salem.
