Free COVID Tests for Salem Residents

The City of Salem has additional free rapid antigen COVID-19 tests available for at-home use. With the holidays approaching, the City has increased the number of free tests it is giving out per person. Any Salem resident or individual who works in Salem is now eligible to pick up FIVE boxes of tests per person (two tests per box) from the Health Department offices, 98 Washington Street 3rd floor, Mondays-Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. as long as supplies last. Salem employers or organizations that require a larger number of test kits should contact the Health Department at health@salem.com to make arrangements.

As a reminder, the Curative PCR testing trailer in Riley Plaza will close as of 1:00 p.m. on December 31, 2022.
