Salem Willows, Phase II Renovations - Public Forum/Salem Willows, Renovaciones en Fase II – Foro público
The City is holding a Public Forum on Tuesday, March 14, at 6:30pm for the Salem Willows, Phase II Renovations. The meeting will be held via Zoom. The City will present the preliminary design for the second phase of renovations at the Salem Willows. In this phase of work, the City is focused on restoring the northeast tip of the park, which runs from the landward connection to the pier down to the end of the tree allee and across to the historic gate. The redesign will prioritize pedestrian circulation, accessibility, resiliency, and will tie-in to the Pier Replacement Project.
The City, along with its Landscape Architect, will present the preliminary design, outline project constraints, review the estimated project timeline, and address questions and comments from the public. All are welcome to attend and provide feedback. Spanish language interpretation will be provided.

El Ayuntamiento presentará el diseño preliminar para la segunda fase de las renovaciones del parque Salem Willows. En esta fase de los trabajos, el Ayuntamiento se centrará en la restauración de la punta noreste del parque, que se extiende desde la conexión de tierra con el muelle hasta el final del sendero de árboles y a través de la puerta histórica. El nuevo diseño priorizará la circulación de los peatones, la accesibilidad y la solidez y resistencia, y se coordinará con el Proyecto de Sustitución del Muelle.
El Ayuntamiento, junto con su arquitecto paisajista, presentarán el diseño preliminar, describirán las limitaciones del proyecto, revisarán los plazos previstos del proyecto y responderán las preguntas y comentarios del público. Todo el mundo es bienvenido a asistir y a ofrecer su opinión. Se ofrecerán servicios de interpretación de español.
