Pursuant to Governor Baker’s March 12, 2020, Order Suspending Certain Provisions of the Open Meeting Law G.L. c. 30A §20, and the Governor’s March 15, 2020, Order Imposing strict limitations on the number of people that may gather in one place, this meeting of the Salem Human Rights Coalition will be conducted via remote participation to the greatest extent possible. Specific information and the general guidelines for remote participation by members of the public and/or parties with a right and/or requirement to attend this meeting can be found on the city’s website www.salem.com. 

Salem Human Rights Coalition Values

• We value and respect members of all communities.

• We welcome people of every age, ancestry, color, disability, ethnicity, family status, gender identity or expression, immigration status, marital status, military status, national origin, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation.

• We will create a brave space for all participants at NP4H meetings, whether in-person or online.

• We will challenge the use of microaggressions*, and we will not tolerate abusive or bullying behavior.

* Microaggressions are casual remarks, questions, or actions that are painful because they have to do with a person's membership in a group discriminated against or subject to stereotypes.

We expect ALL participants to abide by SHRC values while attending the meeting, or risk expulsion.
