World War I Centennial Project
In conjunction with the Salem Public Library, we are striving to preserve the legacy and history of Salem’s contribution to the Great War. Approximately 2,100 men put their lives on hold to serve in our nation’s armed forces. This ongoing project will attempt to chronicle the bravery and sacrifice of fellow Salem citizens between 1917 and 1918. Click on the links below to discover more information.
