The City Council Meeting scheduled for October 13, 2022 is being cancelled and rescheduled and combined with our October 20, 2022 Meeting.
Due to a technical issue, the City Council agenda did not get posted to the City’s Website 48 Hours in Advance. Since the city’s municipal website, www.salem.com, is the official posting location all notices and agendas must be posted to the website. Per Massachusetts’s Open Meeting Law, in order for the notice to be properly posted, it must include the date, time and place of the meeting, as well as a list of topics that the chair reasonably anticipates will be discussed at least 48 hours prior to the meeting. Therefore the City Council October 13, 2022 meeting is cancelled and rescheduled to October 20, 2022.
