No credit card or other financial information required to register for vaccine

Other Massachusetts communities are reporting scam efforts targeting seniors regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. If you receive a phone call or email asking for your credit card or other financial information in order to "register" or receive the COVID-19 vaccine, do NOT respond and do NOT provide the information. No credit card number or payment is required to receive the COVID-19 vaccine. Report any suspected scam to the Salem Police at 978-744-1212.
