Resilient Together
In 2021 the Cities of Beverly and Salem partnered to create Resilient Together: our plan to take collective action in the face of the climate crisis. We are embracing a proactive, collaborative approach in this Climate Action and Resilience Plan to limit climate change to 1.5 degrees Celsius by reducing our greenhouse gas emissions and to build resilience to its unavoidable impacts Resilient Together includes 71 actions across seven focus areas, which offer a roadmap for how our two Cities will address climate change. These focus areas encapsulate the plan, summarizing the areas we will target to create a thriving, inclusive, resilient future for future generations.
