NOTICE OF MEETING

Notice is hereby given that a meeting of the Salem Traffic & Parking Commission will be held on Thursday, September 23rd, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. via remote participation in accordance with Chapter 20 of the Acts of 2021.

 

Every effort will be made to ensure that the public can adequately access the proceedings in real time, via technological means. In the event that we are unable to do so on matters not requiring a public hearing, we will post on the City of Salem’s website an audio or video recording, transcript, or other comprehensive record of proceedings as soon as possible after the meeting.

    1. Neighborhood Traffic Calming Request: Warren Street – Staff will review with the Commission a traffic calming application that was submitted for this roadway.
    2. Neighborhood Traffic Calming Request: Raymond Road – Staff will review with the Commission a traffic calming application that was submitted for this roadway from Raymond Terrace to Lafayette Street. 
    3. Neighborhood Traffic Calming Program – Staff will provide an update on the projects currently in the program and their status. 
    4. October Planning – Staff will review Traffic & Parking Department efforts that are underway in preparation for October including resident permit parking and weekend shuttle services.
