Palmer Cove Park
Palmer Cove Park is located in the Point Neighborhood and next to the harbor. In 2018 the city and the Design Team held multiple neighborhood, stakeholder, and public meetings as well as online surveys to gather input for what the community wanted to see implemented at Palmer Cove.

Phase 1 was completed in 2021 which included a basketball court, improved waterfront pathways, community gardens and parking.
Phase 2 improvements include an additional basketball court and lighting, a play area, Congress Street entrance updates, improved park lighting, drainage improvements, public art, adult fitness equipment, and a new multi-use field. Construction has started as of February 2024, see updated schedule below.
